Could Social Distancing Be Here for the Long Haul?

2021 hasn’t started in the best way with the lockdown being reintroduced and Covid-19 cases rising dramatically. The Lockdown however is starting to take a positive turn in regards to reducing cases and widespread vaccinations being rolled out, hopefully if this trend continues there will be light at the end of the tunnel and we can soon get back to some sort of normality.

The question is how normal will it get back to and how long will it take. At the minute, it is anyone’s guess but there are certain things like social distancing that could be around for the long haul.

Even when the lockdown ends social distancing and masks etc. will become a constant in everyday life, it will essentially become the new normal. Many media outlets have reported that social distancing will likely be in place for the whole of 2021 and therefore many normal activities will be limited or not possible throughout the year which is not the news people want to hear. However, if this is what needs to be done to beat this virus then it must be taken seriously in order to prevent further lockdowns in the future.

What Does This Mean for Our Team Whilst On-site?

Our team will continue to follow the covid precautions they currently have in place. This includes hand washing before and after entry to a site, keeping distance from homeowners/clients whilst in their homes, and wearing masks if required.

Any further recommendations or mandatory rules that are made to ensure the safety of the people, our team and our clients will be strictly followed by the team to ensure that everyone is safe and we can prevent the spread of Covid-19.
